How it works

Three steps, one clear answer. No guessing, no “might be spam”.

  1. 1

    Enter the number

Paste or type any number. We normalise the format, detect the country, and validate it instantly.

  2. 2

    We cross-check 40+ sources

Global spam databases, carrier reputation, complaint feeds, robocall patterns, DNC lists and attestation signals.

  3. 3

Get a verdict + next step

A plain-English risk score with a recommendation: answer, block, call back safely, or clean up your own outbound reputation.

What we check

Spam isn’t one thing. A robocall, a telemarketer and a spoofed scam number get flagged by different systems — we check them all.

Global spam databases

Millions of crowd-reported and carrier-flagged numbers, updated continuously.

Carrier & line reputation

VoIP, prepaid and burner line types, plus carrier trust levels by region.

Robocall patterns

Call-volume spikes, short-duration bursts and neighbour-spoofing behaviour.

Do Not Call & TCPA

Whether the number is on DNC registries, and what that means for calling it.

STIR/SHAKEN attestation

Whether a caller’s identity is cryptographically signed (A, B or C level) — key for businesses.

Complaint history

Count, recency and severity of reports, so one old complaint doesn’t sink a good number.

For businesses & cold callers

Call more. Get flagged less.

If your team makes outbound calls, your own numbers carry a reputation. Carriers and phone apps score them — and once you’re labelled “Scam Likely”, answer rates collapse. SpamCheck helps you stay on the right side of that line.

  • Screen lists before you dial — remove spam, DNC and high-risk numbers from campaigns.
  • Check your outbound numbers — see how carriers and apps see you before customers do.
  • Fix attestation — get full STIR/SHAKEN A-level signing so legitimate calls show as legitimate.
  • Stay TCPA-aware — consent, identification and opt-outs, built into your workflow.
Good outreach, not spam. SpamCheck is for legitimate, consented calling. We don’t help with deceptive, spoofed or high-volume unsolicited calling — and we flag it when we see it.

Yes — single number checks are free with no account. Need volume? Top up 50,000 check credits for a one-time payment of $500 USDT from the Billing page in your dashboard.

How accurate is it?

We combine 40+ sources including carrier data, complaint feeds and behavioural patterns. No single source is perfect, so we show a confidence level with every verdict.

Check your STIR/SHAKEN attestation level, register with carriers, avoid call-volume spikes, and work with your provider to dispute false flags. Our Business plan walks you through it.

Do you store the numbers I check?

No. Checks are processed in transit and not retained. Your recent-check history stays on your device.
